Don Bosco Mission Complex in Thallada Mandal, was initiated on 31st January 1993. The aim of this complex is to impart integral formation to all sections of people entrusted to its care, especially the poor youth of the region. It imparts an all round formation and stresses the spiritual, social and economic development of all sections of people. It provides the needs of the mission with educational, technical and pastoral facilities.
The Don Bosco society, founded by Don Bosco, is a worldwide educational organization with more than 3000 Secondary Schools, Colleges, Agricultural and Technical Schools and Youth Centres throughout the world. The founder of all this world-wide network of educational institution of the most varied kind was St. John Bosco who was born in a little village in Northern Italy on 16th August, 1815.
